Engr. Md. Shakil Ahmed is a seasoned engineering professional with over three decades of diverse experience in civil engineering, project management, and industrial development. As the current Head of the Engineering and Construction Department at Dialogue Architects, he brings a wealth of expertise in supervising large-scale construction projects, managing complex engineering tasks, and driving sustainable infrastructure development.
Educational Background:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering – Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, 1983.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) – Bangladesh Institute of Management, 1999.
Key Competencies:
- Extensive expertise in engineering supervision and construction management.
- Proficient in developing and evaluating project proposals, procurement plans, and tenders.
- Strong leadership capabilities, overseeing multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
- Effective communication skills in both Bengali and English.
- Proficient in MS Office and computer-based project documentation.

- Senior QS Engineer (CDPL Project, 24 Engineer Construction Brigade, Bangladesh Army)
Supervised pipeline works, SV and block valve stations, IPS Cumilla, and Cumilla Depot construction. Managed procurement processes and led the QS section to ensure timely project delivery.
- General Manager (Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation)
Directed the development and implementation of infrastructure projects funded by Climate Change Trust Fund (CCTF). Prepared and evaluated procurement plans and tenders, ensuring compliance with development objectives.
- Construction Manager (Kuwait Construction Company)
Spearheaded the installation of underground cable networks, electric substations, and road construction within Kuwait Oil Company’s facilities.

AR.WASEQUE SHAKIL, MIAB
Principal Architect
Ar. Waseque Shakil serves as the Principal Architect of Dialogue Architects, bringing extensive experience and a dynamic vision to the firm. A member of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), Waseque holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from BRAC University.
Over the years, he has collaborated with renowned international firms such as Bernard Harrison & Friends (UK) and Voyants Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (India), contributing to landmark projects like the master plan for the Bangladesh National Zoo and the Bangladesh Regional Waterway Transport Project. His expertise spans architectural design, master planning, team leadership, and coordination with multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring seamless execution of complex projects.
